Inclusive pricing
There are many services that can be charged for separately by web design companies. Pico Design include many of these charges within one service cost. By including services together in one cost it makes it easier to pay for your website, and easier to budget for your website costs.
Pico design have reduced the number of possible website costs down to about three main ones, these are:
- The design cost
- The ongoing fee thats pays for your website hosting and maintenance
- Update costs
The design cost
This is for the design of the website. The basic design cost allows for a website of up to 20 pages. With some web design companies, you'll find that their website design price is for a very small website of 1 to 5 pages, which is not enough pages for a proper company website. The design cost also includes all other fees such as setup of email services, setup and purchase of a domain name, search engine optimisation, and of course built in website accessibility.
The ongoing fee
This includes services such as hosting the website, hosting the domain name, hosting email accounts, technical maintenance of the website, renewal of domain name, the online presence service, and it can include regular updates if that is needed.
Update costs
If regular updates are not needed, then updates will be charged for as they are required. It is very difficult to include updates in the ongoing fee, as all websites will require a different amount of updating.
Items that can be charged for separately
To help explain my inclusive pricing, below are many of the services that web design companies can charge separately for:
- website design
- domain name purchase
- domain name hosting
- domain name renewal
- website hosting
- website maintenance
- email addresses and storage
- website bandwidth use
- web server storage space
- search engine optimisation
- website updates
To make it easier to have a website, Pico design do not charge separately for all these services.
